    Easy night for Burns

Bum bum needs to start calling out some names at 140 before he talks about the likes of Pacquiao :patsch

Not at 140. Rios has a crazy ability to withstand punishment, he'll weather the early storm and break Ricky down. No disrespect to Ricky, I like the lad. But, Rios is a mean **** that eats hard punches all while still firing his hard shots.

While firing his hard shots at close range

right now the key to beating bam bam is taking advantage of his willingness to block with his chin, but you must also avoid his arsenal.

This is one of the best fighters Burns can beat, he would have Rios behind his jab for 12 rounds.

  7. Fighters like Rios can only eat punches like that for so long before they stop winning...

Although I can see why this might surprise people,it's actually a very valid opinion.
Ricky is very good at controlling distance, which is the best tool for beating Rios.

Rios would chop Burns up and get him out in 5.

That ******* does a good job of getting in range though. He take a couple and gets in there to land a couple of his own. Alvarado had a hard time keeping him out as he was unloading, Rios just kept closing the distance.

Yeah that's true, But he still has a solid chin. I don't think Alvarado put much of a crack in it. Rios still can go on a little longer taking shots, but he will be ******ed when he retires that's for sure. He's almost already there, that freakish down syndrome strength is where he gets his strength from.

Abril stopped him, so can Burns.

This is just anothers posters opinion, nothing has been said about him going to 140, plus I don't really think anyone would call facing Rios at 140 running other than nuthuggers.

Abril never stopped him, beat him yes, but not stop. Burns doesn't fight nowhere near the way Abril does.
