Ward could beat Pavlik handily in a variety of ways. Can't see Pavlik winning a round honestly. He's a good fighter, but he's on the downside of his career and Ward is just too rounded, thinks too well, and the disparity in reaction time is incredibly wide. I think you'd see shades of the Hopkins fight with Ward also doing more to impose himself on the inside and pushing Pavlik back more so than Hopkins did.

Unless Ward has no chin at all, it basically is a walkover.

The Hopkins comparison is dumb. Hopkins is much, much bigger than Ward, and a much better, more experienced fighter. Pavlik went up to Hopkins weight. Pavlik is the bigger man than Ward with much more power. This fight is a toss up.

of course you'd have to favor ward here, given recent history, but I would say pavlik is a live dog still.

How is it dumb? Ward was able to outbox Dawson, something Hopkins couldn't do (I'll give you the fact that Hopkins is old but still). I wouldn't say he's significantly better. So basically it's a toss-up because Pavlik is bigger and stronger?

I'm sorry, but you need to bring more than that to a fight to beat a fighter like Ward.

Yes it is a ridiculous comparison. Hopkins is bigger, stronger, smarter, and far more versatile than Ward.

Ward does one thing -- rush-headbutt-punch, rush-headbutt-punch, over and over. He's extremely good at that, but at the moment Andre Ward is nowhere near BHop.

Ward at 28 is better than Hops at 28, but he is NOT even close to BHOP from age 35-45.

why are you comparing the pavlik of 07-08 to the pavlik of 2012? two different fighters.

and **** cameron blaming the cutman. it was dunkins responsibility to oversee everything in kp's corner which he failed at.

pavlik shouldve told cameron to get the **** out of here and dont ever let me see your face again.

The only times Kelly has been the underdog in a fight were against Taylor (1) and Miranda. You see what happened in both of those fights!

I'd rather see him face some other SMW.
