In the above article Price mentions next summer but here is what I was thinking. Price's BoxNation contract was for a year and then he can sign for a few fights on C5 where maybe he shares a bill with Fury in Aug/Sep and then the fight in Dec in front of 20,000 fans and millions on TV.

Is it just me or does that make a whole lot of sense?

I think Fat Mick is the only real obstacle (and he is a big obstacle) to this fight happening cos he knows Fury will have his block knocked off. Fury has been calling Price out forever and is probably stupid enough to think he beats him.

the market will predict when this happens the timing for the most doe, Tyson needs to look as good as good Pricey against the same opposition types and thats been lacking , time will tell but one thing for sure Pricey is looking more and more relaxed as he goes on, so the longer Tyson has to the wait, the tougher/more confident Pricey he faces, not looking good for him

Yeh tbh I don't think Fury will ever have a decent chance to beat Price its just a case of making the fight as big as possible. I just think late next year works perfectly cos I assume Price will eventually go back to Sky long-term.

Haye, Fury, Price, Chisora............are all on a collision course.

This is not just about Fury vs Price.

This is the most violent time in British boxing since, Benn vs Eubank vs Watson vs Collins era.

Go ahead make a thread about it.

Chisoras already lost to two of them and Price would knock him out easily. His name needs removing from your list.

I really don't understand how could peoples claim that Price is better than Fury.... Fury has won versus an unbeaten Chisora, and he was only 23 and fatty; and all the commenters/peoples were saying that after the Chisora fight, he should have been picked up with a spoon, and so on; Price is actually 27 or so, and he hasn't faced a boxer to the level of Chisora; not that he couldn't win, who knows, but the actual skinnier, faster, and probably chinner Fury is without doubts a way bigger prospect.

No way, Price beat Fury 22-8 in the amateurs, he also wiped out Big John in the 1st round a man who many people thought beat Fury in a controversial decision, he then struggled with him again and eventually stopped him in the 9th. That is why people claim Price is better. Also i wouldnt say Fury is slimmer, Price is in much better shape and doesn't yoyo his bodyweight like Fury does.

When Fury lost to Price in the Ams he was only 17 BUT he still managed to put Price on the floor.

If he could do that as a fat/skinny teenager, without question he could do it much more concussively now he is in shape and Price won't be wearing headgear.

You should also compare what physique Price had when he was 24 as to what he has now is nearly 30. Fury too will continue to fill out and pack on muscle too - the longer he waits for the fight the better in my opinion, for all kinds of reasons :good

So when i fighters get beat that's the end..?

Chisora was involved in two competitive fights with Haye & Fury.

Chisora has his own route, and i believe he will get a rematch with Helenius and abuse him.

Haye vs Fury vs Price vs Chisora are all on a collision course.

I don't see how Fury knocking down Pricey (Pricey was up very quickly, flash knock down) makes any difference to this fight.

Late 2013 sounds about right ! Mick H is not gonna step fury up too drastically by the looks of things ! Maloney has a "plan" for price (european title) against Pulev who he will destroy ! So (on paper) massive fight next year - hopefully at Anfield !
