The TS seems to be hurt about the other thread, that Ward should not be Top 5 P4P.
So he creates one about Pacquiao.

    Floyd
    Ward
    Sergio
    JMM
    Pac

I can justify putting him top 5 at number 5 but no higher than that.

I agree. He should be top 10 at #7 or #8, but there are many fighters more deserving than him. More hype bull****.

Floyd doesn't belong in the top 5. not even sure if he even belongs in the 10 since he only fights once a year, lots of inactivity and other fighters who are more active than him. Hell, if floyd's undefeated record was the reason why he should be #1, then ward and rios should beat him by a country mile since they are more active and has fought and produced more exciting fights.

Ward deserves #1. Ten years ago Ward would be #1. Ring rankings are a joke nowadays. The only worse P4P list than Ring's is Cliff Rold's. The importance certain groups of newgen fans place on P4P rank is ridiculously stupid.

So inactivity affects how far up you rank? Must be one of your own personal rules. Too bad nobody else uses it. According to what you say, Canelo must be #1 P4P now.

So with that logic, Floyd can stay inactive for 5 years and retain his spot?

No. Floyd can stay inactive for one year and retain his spot. That has always been the universal rule. And then after that year if he hasn't had a fight or in process of preparing for one then he gets dropped from the list completely. He does not get dropped down a few spots. That's just freakin' ******ed. But then, so is a dual p4p spot like The Ring is doing now.:patsch

Yeah, the Ring has gone Full ****** on this one.

P4p is about "perceived" skills, and right now they sayin' there is NO best fighter in the world! ****in idiots.

It wouldn't even be as bad if they had them tied for 1st, but to say the p4p title is vacant?! :blood:nut

P4P is about results, and level of competition. Not 'perceived skills'.
