I can understand the logic behind it but it always sticks in my throat a bit when fighters choose opponents just to boost their rankings, if there are better options out there. This whole situation with Brook & Hearn is a bit of a joke really in my opinion. The types of fighters you mentionned and I highlighted were the types I was expecting. They may have been busy now but this announcement has dragged on and could've been made a lot earlier ideally.
They were waiting for the WBC to bump up this guy from 10 to 5 for doing absolutely NOTHING! Utter corruption.

Yeah, the WBC has turned into an absolute joke these days unfortunately. Yes unfortunately it is the case. I think it deserves a pass every now and then (like Bellew and this Bolonti guy, not a great fight by any means but as a follow up to Miranda, not the worst fight) so I'll give Fury the benefit of the doubt. But as you said, if he doesn't have a real step up next, he'll be turning into a bit of a laughing stock really.
Have to agree with this!! Don't think Skelton is going to be a test for price but its a keep busy fight before Christmas!! And like he says price doesn't profess to be the greatest in the world unlike fury who claims to be the best in the world but will only fight bums!!
Who gives a **** what Fury claims, he clearly isn't the best in the world. It was clearly Price who called Fury out aswell, and then the next day signed up to fight Skelton the bum. And lol at former EBU title holder, he won a vacant beelt against a complete tomato can, then lost in his very next fight against the amazing Martin Roghan. Price sure enjoys his stay busy fights, hes had nothing but stay busy fights since he turned pro. Atleast Fury took on Chisora. Thats one decent fighter whose 0 he took.
Tbf this Grano kid iced DaVarryl Williamson on his last outing meaning he has a far better recent win than Price who everybody wants him to fight.

I don't know but then again, I doubt the sanctioning bodies do either. They tend to, especially the WBC, make it up as they go along.
