I watched the PC earlier and Groves came across disinterested. I think the whole injury thing is a cover up to prevent him getting his ass beat in a world title fight. W-arren and his cronies are saying, the injury prevented a world title fight as Groves mandatory vs. Abraham......but Groves said today he would have won that world title fight had he not been injured......but needs 2-3 more fights now to win a world title.

I smell bull****. W-arren stopped that fight from happening, because they already know the outcome......Groves on his arse and out cold.

I still believe DeGale won their fight, as I did on the night.

Groves belittled Booth aswell, a couple of times. If that carries on, Glen'll have his arse out of there before he knows it.

Johnson will walk to the ring like Corrie Sanders did against Klitschko. Like he has just got of the couch at home and told his missus he'll be back in 5 minutes.

Groves is going on cocky. Glen will humble the little ginger boy. I can smell it.

Groves seems temperamental about cuts, his skin and face is similar to Henry Cooper. Easily cuts.

Thats why I asked earlier if this fight gets ruled a NC for cuts, because if not, and it's ruled a stoppage, the likely hood of Glen cutting Groves must be quite high. Considering Glen's bullying come forward in with the head style, throwing the strong right.

I worry for Groves here. Glen has a punchers chance and a very strong chin, forget about loosing the last 4 on points. If Groves is cocky, Glen will finish the lad.

I get you Craney, Just seen the comment from Groves to Adam ''I zone out when you talk..''. Seems to want to crack jokes all the time the lad, Booth seems like the fighter there in a strange way.

He didn't fancy Groves vs Abraham, needed a little persuading. Interesting stuff..

I don't believe a word me, promoters will talk out their arse in anyway possible to put over their own fighter. Regardless of any truth being said, they'll tell a stoned faced lie for whats convenient for them. Groves beating DeGale meant he was mandatory for Abraham?

Yes, whatever. That fight never was in the offing, and even if it was, there is no way Groves and his camp are gonna take that. He'll be exposed.

He ripped Booth twice, maybe even thrice. Joking about is all fine and dandy, but this is the sport of BAHXING. Jokers get exposed. I don't particularly like Booth, but Groves took the **** there for me. You don't question your coach and closest friend before the fight. I think Booths reaction spoke words. He wasn't laughing and joking around, he knows how serious Glen Johnson is, if Groves thinks he's big boi and levels above DeGale, watch this little boy get exposed.

Yep, Groves has gotten a rep as a funny guy. I quite frankly think he's annoying to listen to with his silly banter dunno guys not for me. But everyones different but there does seem to be a little bit of needle with Booth there, He seemed all bussiness where as Groves seemed to be on honeymoon still.

If Johnson can cut down the range of Groves, and is willing to fight fire with fire he has a chance. If he fights within himself he'll struggle, The Johnson that fought Froch beats Groves. But he seems to of aged since that night where he put up maybe his last good display.

Yes yes, I know it was 2004.

Johnson ain't no bum, never has been, turns up fit and concentrated. If he can put his mind to it one more time, and he lands that right on a cocky jokerish complacent Groves. He will teach the lesson Groves needs, and he will learn more from loosing this fight in devastating fashion, than walking the fight on points.

I don't wish it on anyone, but if Grovesy is gonna go on like that, then I think he needs exposing and humbling.

This is boxing, not Saturday night at the apollo. EVEN if it was Saturday night at the apollo, nobody on the planet would find Groves funny.

He must laugh inside his own head. :patsch

I like Groves I think he comes across alright, he's a little bit vulnerable in the chin department though and even at 42 Johnson can throw a nasty right hand. If Groves wins I think he'll have to get up off the floor to do it when he throws shots he often has his feet in the wrong place and gets caught and wobbled.

Sad to see Johnson still fighting after calling it a day and saying he didn't have it left but when someone offers you money and you know you won't earn that much again easily afterwards it's obviously tempting. He's been in some big wars though and they must have taken their toll.

Still see him troubling Groves in this fight at the very least, Groves will be told to get in and out by Adam Booth and move around tiring him out early on then maybe try and stop him late on but if Johnson can hurt him and disrupt his rhythm it could get interesting!

Johnson TKO in round 2, after Groves struggles to get to his corner at the end of the 1st.

    Khan Garcia all over again.

The white towel will be thrown in, as Groves is getting it in the far corner.

The joke will be on the joker.

Johnson best shot is his over hand right and Groves so far hasnt been able to stop that shot so i guess this is booths way of ensuring that will no longer be a problem for groves through training for it through this training camp.

The Jones Jr KO punch, is the perfect punch Glen needs to find, if he finds it and lands it, the "lets **** about" Groves will be out. Forget about the age of Glen. That punch finishes this fight, and by the looks of it, Groves is already taking it for granted and joking about.

This could be like the Khan-Prescott fight all over again.

So that fish-eyed old **** Frank W arren can get Glen Johnson for Groves, but can't land anyone other than Turkish binmen for Cleverly? Even now, at the age of 163, Johnson is a better opponent than anyone Cleverly has faced. Bit disappointed though that Johnson hasn't stuck to his retirement plan.
