    Jennings is fighting Bowie next???

I saw him fight Koval... he comes to the ring in awesome shape like Mark. Good to see the new generation of HW doing their thing the right way

Ive gotta agree but boxing isn't a popularity contest, He cops a lot of stick over his opponents. I don't think anyone has said anything bad about him as a person, coz as you said he seems like a top fella .

Exactly. He might be the nicest bloke on the planet. But his career is just one long procession of mismatches, some of them just abysmal.

I wonder what big fight King is looking for him........smart move though keeping him away from Jennings.......and Peter is still too big a step up for Demori........2 KO losses waiting to happen.......here's a fight though Bowie Tupou........can't box chocolates & easy to move around.

He's always come across as a stand up bloke to me.

Don Kings contract seems pretty debilitating. Several years partnership there and only getting stone walled. I guess it also costs decent money to go legal avenues and break a contract.

Appreciate your concern. Like I said, hopefully DKP give him the go-ahead for Peter. We'll see. I know this much, everything is ok'd or declined by DKP in terms of opponents. Releases have to be sought for him to fight on any non-DKP card. Par for the course though.

Dreadful decision signing with King. Has left Demori's career sucking fumes.

Far more happening with Browne in a fraction of the time it seems.

Were any of Mark's 3 fights since his two and a half year layoff actually on Don King cards? I get the impression at least the first two weren't, and probably all three? Assuming that is the case, the obvious question is what has Don King actually done for Mark in the past 3 years, or longer for that matter??

I do realize Mark magically appeared at #20 in the WBC rankings, and King must have played a part in that because his activity and results didn't warrant it. But it seems that is all King has done for him in years.

I'm sure I'm not the only one here interested in your response :think

Didn't DeMori resign with King recently after his original contract expired ?
    Smart move that.
No doubt King and team DeMori are burning the midnight oil to come up with
a credible opponent outside the top 100.
DeMori is between a rock and a hard place. Fight another stiff and lose all credibility or try to step it up and get smashed.
It'll be shades of Hoppa V McCall.
It's hard not to be a sceptic.

but what im saying is its not his fault he has fought crappy opponents... the guy is busting for a shot at the big time... plenty of fellas who avoid on purpose but in his case he is being held back

You could be right but until he steps it up he is going to have his detractors

I geniunely believe that too. My concern is that he is that keen, that he has said he will take top level fights at short notice which doesnt give you a great chance to start with.

problem is there is a point where that doesn't cut it anymore.

his problem is that he hasn't been hit by anyone decent since he fought alex which was 8 years ago, and the sharp step up after so many bums may be too much for his body to handle.

    we'll see what happens.

Agreed. A steady graduation in his level of oponents would be far better.
