Did you not read the line where I said every human being has the right to back out of a fight? I don't hold it against Chad, there was no point in continuing. But I understand Nazim's point-he cussed out Hopkins after the scuffle in the first fight and disrespected him, referred to himself as a throwback fighter, and then failed to put it on the line like an ATG would. Again, I don't hold it against him by itself, but the lack of effort does not fit the title he awarded himself and the insults he gave to an actual veteran.

Naz is an overrated trainer. Dude uses pool noodles and towels to train world class fighters. True story

I meant to add an "edit" but my internet crashed hard-****ing-core.

I did see the line where you said that Dawson would need to be unconscious in order for you to respect his stopping.

This isn't a case of "Brother Naz tearing Dawson a new a$$hole..." This is a case of "Brother Naz being a butt hurt little girl..."

Dawson MD12 Hopkins, and everything about it was a one sided fight.

    Ah, I see. No worries.

I suppose it's possible he's bitter, but I don't think he would be butthurt if the first tackle/throw incident hadn't occurred. It's a polarizing issue but regardless, Nazim does have a point.

I "get it" but I just personally feel that it has no merit and is a case of trainer whose fighter lost to another fighter taking the first chance to jump and whine about the guy who beat his guy.

Mosley can thank Nazim for additional brain damage (not as though most of the damage hadn't already been done) for forcing him to eat shots from Pac when he should have let Mosley quit on the stool in the tenth (and probably should have pulled the plug sooner).

DAWSON DID THE RIGHT THING. Just like how Ortiz did the right thing vs. Lopez. Besides, Dawson hounding Hopkins for the "quitting" is mere passionate talk moments after an incident when he's pumped up for a fight. And if we took everything boxers ever said as seriously as Nazim has here...? Boy ESB would be 10X worse.

Dawson has not voiced anything you're trying to hype it up to be, so I have no reason to believe such.. Again, quitting after giving Hopkins **** for quitting is the issue, not the act of quitting itself. Had he not gave Hopkins **** this thread wouldn't exist..

He was diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder by Dr. Sam Thurber. Are you questioning his diagnosis or are you suggesting that someone forged the discharge letter? :think

Ok picture this, you pay for floyds next fight the guy in the ring with him realises after the 1st round he can't win, so doesn't come out for the 2nd. Your $60 down. For a round of boxing. And you would be ok with that?

Yeah right, you would be on here bitchin about that fighter like your bitchin bout naz

He clearly suffered a legit injury in Dawson 1. He was clearly hit low by Calzaghe, but probably played it up to buy himself some extra rest (still hardly "faking an injury" though). He fell out of the ring against Allen in their first fight, apparently hurting his shoulder, and came back to beat the brakes of Allen's ass twice after that. :deal

If it had been anyone else, you wouldn't question the injury, but Bernard is a known faker. I'd need to see the x-Rays to believe him. Until then. he quit.:bart

    lmfaoooo...Calzaghe didn't hit him low..He faked it.

Dude, he practically jumped out of the ring. What kind of heart does Bernard have to quit against a guy the caliber of Robert Allen? lmfao

You really think it was one of those fights where he would have serious damage later in life ffs.

He's being badly rocked by a guy who hasn't come close to stopping anyone of note. He was dead at the weight. Best to not take a beating while weight drained. Look at what happened to Roy Jones after Tarver 1.

ohh Hopkins tried to cover his quit job by providing some attestation from his family doc:lol: after he refused to let the ringside physican examine his shoulder and quit right away
Dawson, Hopkins are about the most boring ****s in boxing today, both are quitters and neither is a throwback fighter
