I don't get the hype with Pulev. If Fury or Price would have looked as bad a Pulev did against Ustinov, we would be calling them 'hype jobs.' Fury and Price school him, Price stops him.

  2. I'm not aware of any hype. I have seen his last two fights though and I think he looks like a very solid and very strong fighter. I don't think he looked bad against either. In fact, I thought he handled both big men very well. He took his time and found a way to shortern the gap very effectively to land his own punches and stop both men.

Neither Fury or Price would 'school' him.

You thought Pulev looked bad against Ustinov? How so? He absolutely schooled him and stopped the beast.

Price's own take on Pulev from sparring him last month.

I'm not denying that, but he got buzzed a few times, Fury and Price wouldn'd have got hit like Pulev did.

  5. Why don't they fight him then? Why aren't they chasing his European title? Why do they not even mention him as a future opponent?

A short quote from Price about sparring with Pulev? Oh well that's changed my opinion then.

The old cliche comes to mind - Sparring is different than a real fight.

Price never calls ANYONE out, plus he's got bigger fish to fry, early next year, I believe we will see Price in their with Chisora.

As for Fury, his mind is on the likes of Price, Chambers, Adamek and Povetkin - Again, bigger fish to fry.

I believe they would. Put it this way, what would have happened if it was Price would landed TWO FLUSH right hands to the jaw of Pulev? If Ustinov can land a few jab right hands, Price can. Same for Fury.

What's funny? Sure He's fighting a miss match in Skelton now, but if he does fight Chisora next year, which I believe he will, it's a tougher fight than Pulev.

Can't find it right now but there's another video somewhere with Price saying the recent huge beating he took from Pulev while sparring has saw him learn more from that than all of the rest of his pro career put together.

Given that Maloney always likes to compare his HWs to Lewis he doesn't seem to have the same confidence in their ability as he did with Lennoxs. In his 14th fight Lewis was European champion and was about to face Gary Mason next time out, and he had only been a pro for 16 months....thats moving a good fighter along nicely. I've always thought that he knows something about Price that we don't

It's all BS until I see the video. BUT even if it is true, SPARRING ISN'T REAL FIGHTING.
