Jamie Moore Offered a Slot On Hatton Bill

According to BN he's been offered a chance to fight on the bill. He's undecided at the moment but times obviously getting closer to that date.

I personally feel he shouldn't take it, He won't ever come back the same fighter. Maybe a farewell fight to say a proper goodbye?. Who know's but we know how fighters think. One win then the drug gets to them and then they want one last title etc.

Good luck to him either way, just thought i'd post this up..

 

Spent a couple of hours talking with Jamie at a boxing dinner a few years back, he really is a great guy and speaks candidly about boxing which was a delight.

I really hope he stays away, he is good on ringside etc and his spells around the gym are really insightful.

I don't know the reasons behind any comeback but I hope he reconsiders, however, should it be the decision he makes I wish him all the best.

I do remember him saying on twitter a while back if Hatton comes back ill come back. To see an old mate come back after 3 years off must be quite tempting to do the same. Lets face it though he isnt going to win a world title now so what is the point? Thats the only thing he didnt do in his career. Must be tough though.

Yep pretty disappointed as that was the only time I saw him in the flesh. Pretty shocking result

 

I was there as well.I think a mixture of tough fights moving up in weight and losing lots of the natural "bigger man" advantages caught up with him. Was a shame that night.

 

And I think his head/heart just wasn't in it by then. Put a bit of a dampener on things didn't it?

 

I'd like to see him stay retired but he's kept himself if good shape and keeps going to the gym. If he has the determination then go for it although he is one of those guys you really don't wanna see get hurt, much like any boxer but Jamie is a special fighter.

 

He SHOULD of won a World Title in his prime, but he didn't. He's definitely not going to win one now, just stay retired. We have our memories which we'll forever enjoy.

 

I really hope he stays retired I really enjoy his work on Ringside comes across really well as a pundit/reporter, If he does come back I hope It's for the right reason.

He said on Twitter jus before Ricky announced his comeback....Some lad asked him will he ever consider coming back...And we all know Jamie is good pals with Ricky...He said Quote......"If Ricky comes back Ill come back"
