You make it sound like Roy was getting owned and then turned it all around with a Hail Mary, Castro vs Jackson style.

Are you one of those people who pretends Toney was getting shut out by Nunn before Hail Marying him as well then?!

Griffin won a few rounds without ever coming close to dominating or hurting Jones, and was ahead at the halfway stage, but as the fight went on Jones had got his **** together, worked Griffin out, and turned the fight in his favour.

Do you not realize that Jones was up on two cards and trailing by only one point on other?

To anyone with a brain and eyes, Jones was on the brink of a decisive KO victory when the DQ incident occurred, to pretend otherwise is fantasy. The DQ was the best thing that ever happened to Griffin, because without it he'd have got ****ed up badly, and his fight with Jones would've been remembered much like Mayweather vs Jesus Chavez, where a tough and determined opponent gave a champion some tricky moments early, but then got outclassed, beaten up, and stopped.

It's not about what kind of "fan" I am, it's about what it is right now. Mayweather isn't looking to fight Martinez and Pac, to for sure seal his legacy, he's looking to fight the Canelo's, and other easy fights that will still rank in decent PPV numbers.

Pac and Arum are doing the same thing, except Bradley is not a big sell. But regardless, isn't Bradley pretty much the top choice at this very moment? It's not going to be Cotto and the only other option is Marquez and I'm not sure if he wants to fight in Vegas.

Excuses for NOT fighting "not a draw"

So when did fans care about PPV numbers?

He beat him bad already,"no he didn't even if you gave him the win"

The truth is Pac is scared...He AGREED to a rematch before the fight,then all the sudden does not want the fight....

What happened to Manny removing any doubts,he will fight a 40 year old but not the guy that took his belt what a joke.atsch

This sums it up,Manny can make an EASY payday if that was the case and redeem himself.. All the Pac fans are using semantics,like he is not a draw,and Rios will bring in more fans than Pac?

You know, I was never really satisfied with Jones rematch KO over Griffin.

In their first fight Griffin boxed the pants off of Jones. Griffin was finding the better angles and beating Jones to the punch.

In the second fight Griffin got caught cold in the very first round and Jones did'nt let him off the hook.
Jones did his job sure, but as a boxing fans perspective, I would have liked to have seen the rematch go a few rounds and have Jones prove he boxistically could match and exceed Griffin's skill level.

Catching a fighter cold and blowing him away does'nt prove you have better skill. At the time people were high on Roy Jones skill level. I was always skeptical of it believing he got away with alot of technical mistakes purely on athletic ablility.

Anyways, I think its fair to say that athletic ability and not boxing skill level blew Griffin away.
I would have liked to have seen it go a few rounds and have Joned have to re-deal with Griffin's boxing skill, but it did'nt happen that way. Jones caught Griffin early and he did'nt have to put any boxing skill or prowess on display to finish him.

Lol Roy didn't beat him with boxing skill only athletic ability,well then why didn't Montell use his better boxing skills

Roy was taking over the first Griffin fight when he had his right hand dialed in. Even if he doesn't KO him. He had him down twice and was up a few points on my card. It was a close fight...and just seeing Roy in a close fight is amazing.

Because Manny is a hypejob who doesnt drink his juice anymore. Bradley's xenomorph head was too much for Manny's overrated power since Manny couldn't even bruise his face.

Pac fans are using the excuses Floyd fans did,on what brought in more money etc...

Manny FANS do not support him like other fans support their fighter,all of them are saying they won't buy the fight its not a draw etc..

I thought Manny was about legacy,only cares about money nor redemption.
