He backed out of a fight with Byrd and Ruiz out of pity.

Why should he have been encouraged to pay those guys to share a ring with him.

    Bowe ducked him.
    Tyson ducked him.
The Sanders fight would have happened had Sanders beat Rahman.
And Holyfield himself wasn't all that interested in fighting Lewis until they were both up there in yrs.:think

Who else was he afraid of? Butterbean? On the other hand Lewis only fought Tyson and Holy when they were shot, why didn't he fight them in prime?

Vitali deserved a rematch verses Lewis, let's talk about that Lennox.

    But you are Irish.

    Why do hate being Irish?

Last time i checked i saw green on the Irish flag. Why do you hate your own people?

Now I am a Klitschko fan, but Ill give credit where credit is due. Yes, I do feel that Lennox was frozen out of the heavyweight elite by Don King through most of the 90's. Holyfield did fight Bowe, then eventually won his titles back from Tyson. I read reports that Evander demanded that King make the fight with Lewis under threat of legal action. If true, I think Lewis fans should be extremely grateful that Evander was that determined to fight the best. If not for him, Lewis would just be a "what if" kinda fighter, like Ibeabuche. Well, presumably without all the crack and raping shenanagans.

Lewis came in at a career high in weight and looked softer than ever before. Am I lying? And lets not forget that Vittles took 4 years off. That's 4 years less wear and tear as well as a much MUCH softer resume than Lewis. Again, am I lying? Tell us, how does the Lewis from the Golota fight do against the Vits he did fight? And how does today's Vits do against the Lewis he fought?

Todays 41 year old Vitali clearly loses to the Lewis he fought in 03, no doubt in my mind. I have no idea how prime Vitali would do against the Lewis who fought Golota. Its hard to judge a guy when hes beating the **** out of a frozen statue, right?

Did he not postpone their fight 4 times before retiring? Hell, Lewis won and supposedly retired out of fear. Vits never even got in the ring with Rahman and left the sport. Going by Klit logic it only stands to reason he was afraid. Unless of course you bozo's are just using double standards. Which is it?
