This fight isn't official or anything, but I think Coldwell is going to put Woodhouse and Matthews in the ring together.

I saw Matthews Tweet earlier today saying something along the lines of "I have a big fight lined up for February."

And I just watched Woodhouse and Coldwell on Ringside saying he'll return in Februrary. Matthews could easily move up to Light Welterweight, and it's the type of fight I could see happening as a British Title eliminator.

Matthews has an eight rounder later in the year, I think the fight will get announced if/when Derry wins the eight rounder.

But like I just said, it's just a rumour started by me so don't look too much into it.

Matthews is fighting on a coldwell show too in December and apparently coyle has agreed to fight keiran Farrell in February (for English title I presume) too so would guess it could be on the same show

Matthews may well knock Curtis out inside 6, how do you see it?

Edge to Matthews, but Woodhouse might be fresher, and bigger at the weight. So who knows?

Matthews is a level above Curtis. the size difference would make it interesting though, not to mention both guys are damn fun to watch. Lean towards Matthews.

Both warriors, Matthews called himself the 'Scouse Gatti' earlier today on Twitter. Fair statement?

  15. The Scouse Gatti eh. He's a warrior that's for sure.

How would he get on against Neary at LWW do we reckon? Unfair on Derry obviously as Neary's comfortable & proven at the weight but it'd still be a great fight.
