The fact is taking a ped is cheating, whether you win or lose your still trying to gain an advantage. Thats why athletes take them. Peds are expensive. Do you honest believe boxers are going to waste their money and time on something which isnt going to benefit them somehow ? A ped is called a performance enchancing drug because it can help enhance performance, that is why it is banned. A ped obviously isn't going to improve your technique but can benefit you in other areas such as improving Speed, explosiveness, Power, recover quicker, can help train harder, weight cutting easier, improve stamina, strength and Size. All factors which can help you in a fight.
