And duke, you yourself have several times brought up Mundine being Muslim and aboriginal in an demeaning way.
What is your explanation? Or are you just a ****?

 

Its all fight promotions...People shouldnt bag Mundine (as a person) believe it or not,the guy is just as humble as Geale,when the cams are off that is,his a showman,one of the great ones at that.Some people cant seperate the difference.

IF we left it to 1/16th to promote the fight, no one would know it was on.
He is a boring ****, who never makes an effort to promote, and absolute nightmare!

I just explained why in the post you replied to. I didn't call you a ****. I said you missed the point.

Anthony Mundine claims other Aboriginals are less Aboriginal than him because they do not not behave like him.

But Mundine's behaviour and beliefs are influenced by non-Aboriginal heroes and idols.

Geale has identified as Aboriginal for as long as I know, i remember him saying he was Aboriginal 15 years ago when he was an Amateur. Geale may not be outspoken about his Aboriginality in the media, but that does not make him any less Aboriginal nor does it mean he is not proud of it.

What he has shown though is genuine class in the way that he has conducted himself, he has demonstrated an ability to function successfully in both the Indigenous and wider community.

The Aboriginal community in Tasmania suffered terribly through colonisation, probably worse than any other group in Australia. All Tasmanian Aboriginals today are descended from a handful of survivors of the colonial wars that took place there and who were sent to the Island in the Bass Strait. So there is no way Geale would be accepted by this community if he couldn't prove the connection.

There is no doubt that there is still massive issues with racism that Indigenous people in Australia face today and I have no doubt that Mundine has also been subject to these prejudices. However his tactic of attacking Geale's Aboriginality and family, regardless of the motivation is way off the mark and in poor taste. Divide and conquor is something that Mundine should be aware of and have more sense to get caught up in.

Besides I have heard a credible rumor that Geale will be spending time visiting an Indigenous communityto help out with boxing in the lead up to this fight.

Underlying all of this is that Mundine and the press realise Geale will not help sell this fight with his words - he dislikes the stinging verbal jousts that so often publicise a big fight.

So Mundine played his bad boy role, in front of a theatre that wanted to walk out, but who will return in three months to see words become action.

In addition to only being 1% aboriginal he is a lazy **** as well. That is no wonder only 10 people turned up at the airport when he came back from Germany.

She looked Aborignal to me. Someone claimed she was middle eastern but when i seen her i didnt see that, i seen an Aborignal, never seen a middle eastern person who looks Aborignal before.
