After Pirog was injured, Golovkin's team offered Quillin a shot at Golovkin (the spot on HBO that Proksa ultimately took.) Quillin- who has been beat up by GGG in sparring before- declined.

Similarly, N'Jikam was WBA interim champ for a time while Golovkin was WBA regular champ. Neither Sturm nor N'Jikam wanted any part of GGG during that stretch.

Golovkin would, in fact, beat either of those guys, if they agreed to fight him that is.

N'Jikam-Quillin is a good fight. I don't have anything in particular against either guy. They both seem likable enough. It'd be kind of funny to see Quillin lose though, just because people are hyping him so hard around here nowadays. His hype relative to what he's done at least matches and probably exceeds Golovkin's hype, for the record.

That's not what's wrong with boxing.
Look at this. Why would Hassan fight Golovkin when he can get a belt without facing anyone? Right. No reason at all to fight GGG. So instead he ducked and dodged and wormed around and, viola - HE'S A CHAMP!
That's what's wrong with boxing. (among other things)
