That time was years ago. There are so many performance enhancements... some legal, some not, some quasi legal, some only legal if you take them within a certain time period. EVERY professional athlete is on this **** or they couldn't compete, including Floyd. You're just naive if you think otherwise.

Why are people linking this to Floyd, literally some people here are so ****ing stupid. This has nothing to do with Floyd, Manny or any other boxer for that matter. Morales should be treated just like every other boxer did who had been caught with drugs.

Peterson, Berto, Tarver were all ridiculed. Now Morales who is a big fan favourite (one of my favourite boxers aswell) has seemed to have gotten a 'free ride'. Don't get me wrong, I am upset and feel more ashamed rather than angry at Morales. He should be called out, not have excuses made for him, this will be good of boxing which obviously is irrelevant to some people when it concerns their favourite boxer. I still feel he has had an ATG career and is an ATG but I am disappointed.

This is a point that should be raised, regardless of the boxer. It's the dumbass people who feel the only people picking on Morales is for revenge? That's pathetic just like the majority of the posters which is why I hardly post here too often now.

Well this is certainly unfortunate and sad news, although I can say I could see this coming. Erik couldn't make weight (140) last time him and Danny met, and Erik's body being older and not as cooperative, I can see him wanting to make sure he hits the weight mark.

I have always liked Morales, but was always more a supporter of Barrera. Having said that I don't believe Morales has ever done something like this before, as I don't think given the condition Erik's body was always in, in his prime taking something to help with losing those last few pounds was ever a necessary precaution. I think this is all about a aging body that wont do what it used to do, so needing some help because he's no longer a hungry 20 year old animal who can train his body into a 126-140 piece of iron.

 

Morales just really wanted to win this one. No different than Tarver in the Kayode fight. Doesn't erase what they've already accomplished :deal

 

He's still a legend and ATG to me.

Morales will always be a warrior, one possible failed test in the twilight of his career, isn't going to change that. But either way Garcia isn't at fault here at all, so why are you starting with the name calling?

Think you'll find I also said I hope it's untrue, because i'm a fan of Morales. If this was Floyd or Pac, they would already be condemned as career cheats and their whole records tarnished.
