Clenbuterol has a thermogenic effect I don't think it's anabolic

If it's a sophisticated thought out process, not only could Morales be cheating, he could be taking something else in order to try and fool the test, although it appears its created an inconsistency, by testing positive and negative. So that doesn't say Morales hasn't done anything, he may well be taking something else to try and get a negative test.....obviously, the plan hasn't quite worked out.

Many cheats test negative on many tests for years, but are taking PED's. Just look at Lance Armstrong.

What I can't understand is the fight being a loud to take place, on the balance of probabilities and possible doping, the fight SHOULD NOT take place when they have this sort of doubt and evidence before the fight takes place. If the tests were AFTER the fight, then fair enough, but they have this doubt BEFORE the fight......obviously money is doing the talking here......

A real shame when they say they are trying to combat cheating in boxing. It goes against everything they stand for......

Yes but is it anabolic? If anything it would have a nonsteroidal anabolic effect. It's a cutting agent. Not all steroids are anabolic....

Yes, it has an anabolic component. It just promotes leaner gains as opposed to something like d-bol.

Enzo Maccarinelli got done for taking a dietary supplement. You can say what you want about it not being the same as steroids, but if its banned and its on the list, you don't do it, or face the consequences when you get caught.

Morales had trouble making weight before, obviously his camp have taken a direction to make sure he makes weight. Although Morales would make the weight if he worked hard enough, obviously they want to cut corners and by doing so.....are cheating.

questions on what type of test they used.

Clearly USADA use CIR testing on the positive test which detect the presence of any PED because of their statent that they only detected miniscule amount.

...and for the negative test, did USADA use T/E ratio where they knew the presence of clenbuterol is so miniscule that the drug won't exceed the allowable ratio??.. therefore it was deemed negative.

i think USADA should also use CIR for the B sample.

CIR is carbon isotope to break down test molecules? That should definetely determine the levels and validate/ eliminate any chance of contamination

Obviously CIR wuld be used since A and B samples are taken at the same time.

I keep hearing "minimal amount", but if it was the difference between making weight or not making the weight......it don't matter.

Morales has taken something, knowing or unknowingly. If it's on the list and it doesn't count, then the fight shouldn't take place. Boring yes I know, the fights of. But it don't make sense to me for the fight to go ahead STILL, after they have had this doubt BEFORE a fight takes place. What are they standing for? Kicking it out? Or fully knowing about it and ignoring it, so the fight takes place and makes money?

    Which is it?

Minimal or massive amount, its still the same ****. Fights get ruled NC/ND when tests prove positive after a fight, why is this fight a loud to go on?

Is this drug taken, in any other thing that Morales may have taken prior to the test? Not the drug itself, but part of legal medication or something?
