Well, Cormier has the better fighting pedigree, but Cigano is the younger man and is far more proven in MMA. Junior's timing on his punches is so good and his takedown defence so impressive that it's tough to confidently pick anyone against him. But then, Cormier looks like an unstoppable monster too, so it's a wash. :conf

This is a very interesting matchup, and I hope we get to see it next year. Seems to me like it's one of those fights that could go three or four very different ways, with both men having a real chance of an impressive/dominant victory. :good

    :hat

I can't wait for this to happen. Both guys have looked unstoppable so far.

Cormier Velasquez would be better. Who is the more explosive wrestler? Would be kickass!

Cormier is the better wrestler. He's a better wrestler than everyone at HW. In fact, he is Cain's wrestling coach.

Once Dos santos touches that chin -Cormier won't be so unstoppable.

I do like this fight though.

Although Cormier has stated that he may enter the UFC at ligthheavyweight so he can fight Jon Jones. That's a fight I would love to see.

If he touches Cormier's chin to no effect, the HW division is in big trouble.

Well Dan takes him down WHENEVER he wants..but he stopped Nelsons TD's...

On a serious note, I think Dan GNP's any HW in MMA, JDS included

I'll give JDS the slight edge until I see Cormier in a couple more fights.

I would actually like to see a Cormier versus Overeem matchup with the winner fighting JDS.

Dos Santos better have the power to KO Cormier or he's going to lose.

I like Dos Santos by decision at this point. I don't think can hold Dos Santos down for 3 out of 5 rounds. I think Dos Santos lands the cleaner punches and wins a 3-2 decision.

I would love to see Cormier against Jones. I want to see Jones fight off his back, and Cormier may be the only fighter capable of putting him there.
