Pavlik hasn't carried his power up from MW to SMW. Pavlik also has problems with guys who move. Both Martinez and Hopkins were able to outmaneuver Pavlik. I believe Ward does this even easier. I'm a big Pavlik fan but I just don't see any advantages for Pavlik to win the fight. Pavlik would be better off fighting like Abraham.

He did? As far as I know, Dirrell doesn't have anything going on. There's also guys like Stieglitz out there, but the reality is, Pavlik is past the "I'll fight godzilla for $2" stage and only wants the big money fights....which Dirrell isn't.

 

Hmm... I thought he announced a fight. I see there is nothing on boxrec so I was wrong or it didn't happen I guess. My bad on that one but I've said all along I think Andre Dirrell is the worst match up in the division possible for Kelly. Kelly feels he has done enough tuneups under Garcia now. Stieglitz? Not sure there is money in that even in Germany and Kelly ain't going to Germany unless it is a big fight for big money.
