This dude took how many tests before he passed? :rofl And people are still defending him.. it's okay, they said it was 'contamination' like with Berto.. Only difference is somehow Morales gets to fight immediately after testing positive while Berto's career was put on hold.. Both should have received suspensions..

Boxing sometimes works like the goverment, it bends rules when they want and forces rules when they want as long as money is involve. That's why some fighters will keep on taking the risk on taking ban substances. You fail the first test, there should be no excuses what so ever. Just look how many other guys have been caught with what Erik was tested in other sports and what their punishment was. They have been ban and even strip of prior achievements. Not in boxing, we make excuses and forgive as long as the money is rightatsch

 

Any official word on this fight? Failing two out of three drug tests... Normally Morales would be suspended pending an investigation.

How so? They were contracted by the two fighters to test and provide results to them, which they've done. They have nothing to do with the fight at all.

Neither the NYSAC nor the WBC has any grounds to cancel this fight based on USADA's results as USADA testing was a private agreement between the two fighters. Of course the promoters want it to go on and last I heard both fighters do too. They don't get paid if they don't fight
