He is a BIG 168lbs'er with ELITE skill, even topping Bernard Hopkins at this point.

Pavlik would not win, and would not have a snowballs chance in hell to win, and thats just being real. Andre Ward is too disciplined to get caught up in one of Pavliks 1-2's, and even if Pavlik were to land his big punch, who is to say Ward will get hurt? He's took punches from Kessler and didn't budge.

It would be absolutely HUGE, no doubt!

If he managed to clearly outbox Ward at least 7 or 8 of the 12 rounds, then that would make everyone's jaw drop even more than if he somehow knocks him out.

Anyhow, either way don't count on it any more than winning a few thousand bucks...playing the lottery.

thats one normal if and two very big ifs. Plus another even bigger one you didnt consider.

1. good training, most people get that, but a lot goes wrong too.
2. recovering alcoholic returning to peak shape, very big if.
3. having the best fight ever, better than any one you've ever had including all those cool KOs when you were healthy.
plus 4, beating the best SMW ever (bar RJJ), a weight above your natural division. Huge If.

Every difficult variable you add will make cuts chances of success substantially. Maybe three minor ifs would make it a minor shock. Three majors 'ifs' make it pretty substantial.
