.....the guy has 21 fights in 8 years... seems like just yesterday he was a young lion coming out of the 2004 olympics ... 8 years later 21 fights and he will be 30 years old on his birthday

he must really hate boxing, or he has a more important job we dont know about

Didn't he have a fight signed until TMT bit the dust?

He supposedly was going to have a fight in mid November but never got an opponent so a fight was never signed.

He's just a dumb fighter who made some lousy decisions. Abe has nothing to do with anything. He was given so many opportunities, but screwed them up. Many already got mentioned. It was his own fault.

He was also offered a Ward fight, but he pulled out of the Super 6 instead. That pissed Showtime off.

OK. That's probably why I remembered him as having an upcoming fight. I was ticking off guys Pavlik could face in my head and probably forgot to 'untick' him.

who really cares? the guys a coward! he was given the opportunity to fight stevenson for the right to fight for the IBF title but turned it down. he didn't do anything to earn that shot at stevenson and would of been fast tracked on no merit what so ever. **** him is all i can say.

the sad thing... Abraham was right
Ive never seen such silly flopping and acting, even the walk from the fight...

Surprised that Dirrell could act or full of antics? Ohhh, didnt watch the Froch fight?

That is why im not a fan of the Dirrells. They act like a bunch of kids in the ring....

I remember when we were speculating about their fight in the Super6 Classic, and i believed that Dirrell would continue on to fight Ward, though they were friends. And there were others who believed they wouldnt fight each other cuz they were close friends.

Dirrell definitely was winning against Abraham. And i think those slips were baits for a desperate AA, and he obliged him. But the flop after the hit and all the over-acting afterwards smelled pretty bad. And yup, no fight vs Ward.

I guarantee if Abraham didnt take the bait, the fight still wouldnt happen, either by supposed training injury or claim of injury from AA fight.

The fact of the matter is that Ward and Dirrell were fight mates in the 2004 Olympics. Dirrell knows the level of ability and mental state of Ward better than any other fighter.... and he KNOWS he WILL undoubtedly lose against Ward.
