I think if Kenny was let off the leash he'd stop Paul as i said in RBR i don't like this holding him back to box when it's not that effective, He's a strong rugged SMW and Smith isn't as skilled as Reid nor do i think Kenny will be that poor. It may of been a fight he needed after a string of lower level tests he needed someone who was going to try to win and half a bit of craft.

I think Kenny would get to Smith and stop him in later round IMO.

    Smigga will get smoked.

****in hell, forget the daft commentary for a sec, Kenny kept calm, stalked the wily old campaigner Reid, & when the time was right?

Kenny opened up & BOOM! Robin Reids legs were like tree trunks stuck in the soil. Kenny was as well fighting with a cigar in his mouth it was so easy, cool calm and collected.

Smigga likes to scrap, so Kenny will obliterate him. Now that king Kenny has the british title? people are going to have to finally fight him, & al of you are finally going to see what a beast this man is, trust me...

as Karen Carpenter once beautifully sung-

    "its only just begun"

I like Kenny, but he's nothing special.

Easy win for Smith. He'd win a clear UD by something like 8-4.

Think Anderson is too strong for Smith. Cant see him getting much beyond brit level though. Also 'let off the leash Anderson' is in danger of being comparable to a certain phrase used to describe Kevin Mitchell.:D

I don't want to see this fight. Paul Smith could become very depressed if he wins.

Kenny would stop Smith mid rounds imo. He wasn't great at all tonight but that was down to Reid's craft and some bad tactics, or least that's what it seemed from what we heard in the corners.

well chris, hopefully this is where Eddie Hearn shows his mettle & gives Kenny the activity he craves!

Fair play to Eddie Hearn, hes done great for Kenny getting him his title shot & although I can side with ****** cos of what hes done with Burns, if Eddie can get Kenny Anderson fighting regularly & realizing his potential AND get the super talented Craig McEwan on board after prizefighter? I could yet learn to love him like the rest of this forum:D

Trust me chris, an 'unleashed' Kenny Anderson will be so exciting, cos hes got unbelievable power. Poor old Robin Reid had the look of a stalked gazelle by the end of the third round, & hes a tough old vet. Credit to him for going out on his shield like that.

Be interesting to see who kenny is put in with if hearn gets him out regularly cos at british level there isnt a high level number of opponents at smw.

I tought the tactics were spot on to be honest, Reids a dangerous big punching old pro, Kenny running in and trading without activity could have resulted in him either a) taking a clean big shot early & being stopped b) after trying to close the show early & gassing it turns into an even fight against an old wily veteran & getting done on points.

Patience was the key for this one, & patience prevailed. Reid may be old, but he still had the tools to drag Kenny into the trenches if kenny didnt fight with his head screwed on.

Will be an interesting fight, I think Smith could beat him on points.
