    5-3-1 Cano. They ain't stopping this fight because of the cut unless Malignaggi is able to land consistently. And he's not able to do that because of all the body abuse he's taken during the fight.

    Cano dives in with rights to the belt line. Malignaggi is slapping with right hands to the back of the head in the clinch. Both are getting dirty. Holding and hitting frequently, with minimal Smoger involvement. Rights dug into the side by Cano. Malignaggi hops backward, nearly into the ropes before turning on a dime. Malignaggi is clinching often and grinding his hair into Cano's upper face. Jab and uppercut combo by Malignaggi while backing away from a Cano right, very lightly thrown. Cano is also unable to get much leverage on his shots coming forward now, tiring. Malignaggi jabs the body and backs up, eating a left hook and pulling his chin just barely out of the way of a couple of jabs. Malignaggi jabs, moves, and holds for the rest of the round.
