Never wanted the Sergio fight for Quillin. Roach obviously told Quillin to step aside for Chavez because Q's been calling sexy out for years.

Still dont totally like the fight. Sergio is old and he gets hit easier than he did a couple years ago.

However would be fully confident in Q getting in the ring with Chavez and GGG.

    Chins will be checked

Good fight, Kid Chocolate let'em hang out that last round I was routing for him, but Maravilla no no no. An all Cuba fight should be made. Quillin vs Lara. I like Lara's chances.

Neither of those things are true, plus he has better handspeed, power, and ring IQ than N'Dam as well.

HBO want a dance partner for Gennady in December.

    Lets bring in Quillin.

Quillin had an offer and turned down the fight whilst acting like Martinez was the one ducking him.

Jacobs was a golden boy hype job with cancer.

Ooooo what has Pirog done since besides looked ok against a club fighter and a 154lb featherfisted japanese fighter who a faded Paul Williams won every round against?

Borat is unproven on the big stage.
    Pass... Until he does something.

Q, on to bigger & better things.

Too bad HBO is taking a liking to Borat, Quillin will have to make his livelyhood on Showtime undercards the coming years.

Most likely Quillin will go for geale or even Macklin than GGG, which is unfortunate. These guys need to settle out who is the best, so when Sergio comes back he can beat the top guy.

    SHOtime>HBO
Not only in boxing but in programming.
    (HBO is falling off)

+ looks like SHO has Canelo & GBP's locked up.
(I wouldn't be surprised IF Floyd's next fight is on SHO)

More likely he makes soft defenses in Brooklyn on Showtime.

Yep. Didnt need to turn the volume down at all tonight. Top notch fights (cept for the Devon Alexander snorefest) and presentation.

No frills and undo hyping. Just great fights.

Notice how showtime doesnt look for style matchups just puts top fighters in the ring together and more often than not good things happen. :good

Whiplike got the **** man. He has something about him that is hard to define but he's just got what it takes to be a good fighter. He's got the toughness speed coordination and mental strength to be a live opponent against anyone in the division. He's a lot like Danny Garcia in that you can't really say that he's a great boxer but you should be suprised if he knocks his opponent the **** out.

Sergio would be favoued but he's been stunned by worse fighters in recent fights. I would rule out a quillion KO. Ggg would kill him though.
