Johnny Nelson called it, how do you see this prediction??

Being what I'd like to call a hardcore boxing fan, I can honestly say. Shut the **** up Johnny, you were boring as a fighter and you talk out of your shitter. The end.

Yafai looked good tonight, he needs to fight someone decent to give him a challenge.

Yafai looks fantastic but he is only 4 fights in so people need to not get carried away. He looks very powerful at Bantamweight to be honest and this is the second time I have seen him to be honest. I see promise.

They are talking about Jason Booth next, that would be a fantastic scalp of a very good pro in Jason Booth. I think the experience would be fantastic but if he wins he needs not to push to far forward.

Exactly, there is a line of justified hype and too much type and Nelson crossed it

I just noticed he fought again, yet to see him fight as a pro but I'm happy with his activity so far. Hope he can maintain it for 2013.

fella he fought tonight is in the top 15 I think, not bad for his 4th fight and made him look a novice

too early to make that sort of prediction right enough

How many "next Roy Joneses" have been anointed so far, and how many have actually measured up?

    Answer zip.

Agree that its extremely premature,as I rate Jones as one of the best ever, despite his recent failures. But I think Johnny was using a bit of poetic licence,a bit of sensationalism if you like.Dont agree that he was a boring fighter either.Look at who he fought and his success rate and look at how articulate the guy is.Met him once and spoke for about 15 minutes, not up his own backside and same in person as on TV.Regarding Yafai,a great addition to the pros,at least european champ if further IMO.

He was a pretty good boxer, but not entertaining in the slightest. Yafai is in a division where there is class all round, which is my worry.

I reckon Finbar McGuigan wasn't there because he'd have probably battered the all the Sky hype train for their outrageous comments, and told it how it was.

A Roy Jones type fighter cannot exist at light bantam weight.

A reaction based fighter like Jones can only exist at higherweights, where range is great enough to allow the body to react and embarrass opponents at the top level.
