Outside of Martinez and Chavez whose fought beter opponents at 160 than Quillin?

Hes a flawed fighter with power. Showtimes gonna put him in good fights to get max value.

I won't talk down Showtime, they've given me Vazquez-Marquez trilogy and many other great fights.

But we all know HBO is where the money is at, just factual.

There's a reason Andre Ward, Adrien Broner and Floyd Mayweather are all on HBO.

And Martinez is with HBO now, Gennady too.. Quillin better scoop over if he wants to make bigtime.

I would since Floyd made "loyalty to HBO" such a talking point last year.

And praise Showtime all you want, the fact of the matter is HBO is seen in more houses and pays bigger purses.

Geale and Sturm most certainly have. Macklin has too if you're just talking about fights instead of wins. This is the first fight in ages where a Quillin opponent WASN'T coming off a loss. Hell I'm not even sure Pirog or Golovkin's resumes are necessarily worse.

I think Quillen's measured shots would knock Martinez the **** out. He has a good chin, throws heavy leather and Martinez is supposedly an undersized middleweight that's been dropped plenty of times. Golovkin whoops his ass in a absolute dog fight though.

I think a fight with macklin would be a good measuring stick to see if he can hang with the elite MW's

He doesnt throw enough punches. Uninspired performance. It was like watching football. His opponent had bad balance.

He just destroyed a top 10,undefeated opponent and people hate.

Golovkin destroys a guy barely in the top 20 and people hail him as the second coming....
