I read the thread title forgetting that Floyd would be the bigger guy and be on the attack. Quite a different circumstance than we're used to seeing. Judges are looking for an excuse to take his 0 too as evidenced by some of the scoring in his fights lately.:think Danny is a very measured fighter, but he really wears his heart on his sleeve. IF, IF, he could take take Floyds power, and IF he could catch Floyd admiring his work, he could win this fight.:think
Ray Robinson is lucky he was born in a different era. I'm not saying he ducked Garcia but why did he choose to be born at a time when he, conveniently, couldn't face his toughest challenge?
Mayweather doesn't go within a mile of Garcia and a ring. Probably writing up a restraining order as we speak.
lol at some of these responses. On a serious note, way too early for Garcia just yet. He is strong, speedy, decent chin and good all rounder and generally sticks to the game plan but has a couple of defensive vulnerabilities and is too inexperienced yet. A fight against PBF right now would play out like against Khan but before he blasted him away, and would be a long painful night.
people still underestimating floyd then? garcias looking good so far but right now against an experienced fighter esp with garcia going up to 147 sorry but no chance mayweather schools him to UD
These are HUGE IFs though. I can only see Floyd outboxing him all night long to a UD or late tko. People seem to be forgetting Khan was outboxing Garcia but got stupid, and was caught. Floyd would take the absolute **** out of Garcia. Morales last night was a shell, let's get that straight. Yes it was a great shot from Garcia, but Morales was there to be hit, he had nothing for Garcia, nothing at all. He really loads up on his shots too, Floyd will see those a mile off. So I will reserve judgement on Garcia, good fighter but he would pose little threat to Floyd.
