When Rudkin lost to Rose he was asked if Rose was the biggest bantamweight he'd ever fought. He replied..."no. he's the biggest featherweight I've ever fought" :good
I've been working on my terrace for the last couple of weeks with she who must be obeyed breathing down me neck. It's been rain stopped play for the last couple of days so I've had a bit of time to meself.
Good posts, Al. Interesting info. I disagree that Harada-Rudkin was a close fight. Some rounds were fairly close but Harada clearly was the better man that night. Although Harada looked a bit lethargic to me compared to his best fights. I do agree though that your father probably could have put up a better fight against Harada if he had more experience. It really looked like he could have fought at a higher pace in the early portions of the fight as the last rounds indicated.
Then I will do, I'll PM you or post it in here when it happens, this thread seems to be a free-for-all on the greatest bantamweight era of all time so it'll fit well in here :good
This comes from "the expert" whom regarded Orlando Canizales and Ricardo Lopez as "greater" than Gaby Canizales . This post of mine was meant 4d newbies/lurkers/naive readers , whom r d vast majority , not trying 2 start n argument with u , but i will defend d truth if u will make it necessary again .
Explain away. I don't have to respond, your 'argument' and 'reasoning' is enough to make you look a prized **** so crack on. Them windows tasty?
