I like his body attack, his timing, and his power.

 

He's far from trash, but also far from great, don't think he's #1 at that division, Marquez and Matthysse would probably take him out. I wanna see him fight another top 2 fighter at 140, beating a Super shot Morales with a Boxing age of 55 is not much, if it had been Matthysse or Maidana I would understand why, he's called #1 at 140, but not yet.

99.9% of fighters suffer a defeat at some point, not everybody is as amazing as the man is my avatar.

Saying someone is likely to suffer a defeat isn't exactly a groundbreaking statement. The only young world champion who likely won't lose at some point in his career is Andre Ward imo.

 

Garcia isn't "garbage" but he's not the hype-job some people claim. He's a decent counter-puncher with some pop. Effective pressure fighters or very quick fighters that box would make him look bad (think Khan except with boxing and not fighting). I think Maidana would rock this guy tbh - Garcia doesn't clinch much and Maidana's a horse.

Who give a rat **** if he's fight like a girl or not, if he's kicking ass then he's :good.

 

At 140 I can see JMM, Bradley and Khan in a rematch beating him. At 147 he would get anihilated by most of the top guys. He can be easily outboxed. He landed a good left hook on a chinny Khan and a shot Morales who has a shot chin 5 weight classes above his primel.

 

some people go to extremes sometimes. he isn't the greatest after beating a shot old man in morales, but he's very good after what he did to khan. he's also only had 25 fights. in that time he's beaten khan, theophane, morales, holt, arnaoutis...

what more do people want? he's only a baby really, but he's already the lineal champ in the division with some decent fighters on his resume. he may or may not beat the other top dogs at light welter, but he's still a very good fighter who's only getting started. give the kid a break. it's harsh to call him garbage because he isn't.

 

I understand he might not be a superstar. But I wouldn't use the word garbage. He comes well trained and always do his best. Wish him the best

He may not be an elite fighter and I don't think he's particularly special among chamoions, but Judah and Kotelnik are obviously not garbage and Khan took care of them. So, Khan's obviously not garbage, and Garcia took care of him, so, Garcia is obviously not garbage, by any sane estimation. You should rethink your definition of "garbage" perhaps. Something that would fit reality, maybe. Best of luck on that, my man.
