    Excruciating rounds for both fighters, an insane amount of in-fighting by both guys. It'd be 36 mins of hellacious war.

    I don't see Rios getting knocked out and I don't see Duran getting knocked. I do see Duran winning wide though.

    It would smash records. It would be 10x the fight Gatti vs Ward, Castillo/Corrales was.

    worst thread this forum has ever had!!!

    Duran is top 5 all time ATG on most peoples lists, the greatest lightweight ever. I love Rios but he wouldn't last 2 rounds with Duran!!!

    As much as I can't stand Rios, I have to say his inside fighting skills does remind me a bit of Duran, I believe Max Kellerman said that also when Rios fought Murray.

    Rios gets KNOCKED THE **** OUT in round 2 after being completely dominated. TOTAL mismatch.

    There's a gulf in quality here but that doesn't mean it couldn't be a fun, competitive fight. Duran would probably trade with Rios and that sort of fight is unlikely to end early. Rios has a great chin and he loves being in a fight, so he's not going to get stopped early. He'd have success but the extra defensive ability that Duran has would see him through in the middle rounds, before Rios starts to tire late on.

    Completely agreed. I can see the late KO/TKO. But a KO2 is just ridiculous.

    it would be the nastiest beatdown ever. rios would keep coming and getting it until he was comatose. duran was a great boxer as well as a brawler and rios plays into all his strengths
