Does that mean he'll win all belts in his division and move to SMW?

Pirog was avoided terribly after he smashed Jacobs. HBO has hated on him since. and the
WBO never wanted him as the champ. that's why they stripped him as soon as he signed
to fight Golovkin. bad luck he got injured cuz i have no doubt he would of beat
Golovkin. Pirog will win the tourney and **** up HBOs plans again. similar how BHop did in so many years ago when he beat the **** out of Tito

yeah I see what you mean there. I was underlining it by saying that Martinez has been a worthy champion by remaining the number 1 in the division and not letting any of the contenders overtake him.

  5. Pirog is 32 years old with 20 fights. Yet you have him vs Martinez at 50/50?

You either way under estimate Martinez or over estimate Pirog. It's 80-20 at best and that's being generous to Pirog. In fact before even talking about the champ at 160, why not let Pirog take a massive step up first? I recommend a Macklin type or a Andy Lee type. Those would be massive step ups for Pirog atm.

Macklin would be a favourite v Pirog at this moment.

    How?
I think Macklin catches a schooling and might get stopped there.

He doesn't even have the WBO belt anymore, and he's nowhere near as active as Calzaghe, so I'm not sure what your point is.

If GBP keep ducking a N'Dam-Quillin rematch, maybe Pirog can get it on with Peter?

By accepting the fight and getting injured? :patsch

He's not going to fight again until next year at the earliest. Pretty sure the injury excuse is valid dude, especially since he was apparently committed enough to the Golovkin fight that he got stripped.

sometimes you need to fight through injuries and just tough it out....he has done himself no favors, what a waste....

"injuries" are the #1 excuses to why a fighter pulls out and yet youre an ******* if questioning it. If you break your hand, thats one thing. if your hand simply "hurts" thats another.
