    two good upcoming shows..

    Fwank card, December 15th

Ricky Burns vs Liam Walsh :dead
    Groves vs Johnson
    Saunders vs Blackwell
    Tony Conquest vs TBA
Chas Symonds vs Bradley Skeete :dead

Then probably the likes of Buglioni, Mitchell Smith etc

    Matchroom card, December 8th

Gavin Rees/John Murray (not signed yet, but looking likely)
    Carson Jones/Lee Purdy
    Darren Barker/Kerry Hope
    John Ryder/Kreshnik Qato

    Erick Ochieng vs TBA

Then the prospects, Yafai, Cardle, Ward, Cal Smith, Weaver.

December looks like a cracking month of boxing, thoughts? :bbb

Allot depends on Burns opponent. Groves vs Johnson will be the only 50-50 on Fwanks card though.

Matchroom's has more depth but the Groves-Johnson fight is the fight I'm most looking forward to. As Rob says if Burns has a really solid opponent, which looks doubtful, the quality of them 2 fights would swing it to Frank IMO.

Probably Matchroom until TBA is given a face. Rees/Murray is an intriguing fight. I think Jones is a level above Purdy

    Purdy/Jones - Miss match not a 50/50.

Barker/Hope - Miss match in boxin skills. Not a 50/50

Rees/Murray - Cracking fight, but not a 50/50 slight edge to Rees.

For me it has to be Fwanks. 3 fights i'd like to watch in Burns, Groves and Saunders irrespective of opponents. On the Matchroom one I only care really for Jones, Purdy and thats purely down to wanting Jones to do well (which I know isn't really the point)

I think Matchroom's definitely unless FW gets Burns a well-known opponent (which I seriously doubt).

I must be the only person who isn't really psyched for the Groves vs Johnson fight. I think it's sad to be honest. A year ago it would be been a very good test because Johnson looked good in the Super Six but against Bute he looked slow and crap so his age must've caught up with him (he even retired FFS!).

It's obvious he's only come back for this fight because they've offered him a good paycheque, otherwise why would he bother, especially when it's over here and not in the USA?

On the other side you've got Barker vs Hope and Rees vs Murray which are two interesting fights. And Lee Purdy vs Carson Jones which will be fantastic fight, two guys who like to come forward and bang.

Unless Burns gets a serious defence then I probably won't even watch that card.

    What about O'Connor/Evangelou and Ryder/Qato?

    They're good match ups.
