Did some neck damage and broke Golota's eye socket. Broke Ruddock's jaw. I'd say if Golota would have continued in the fight he would have been permanently injured.

Yes. Tyson bruised Golota's vertebrae, with rabbit punches, which is a lot more serious than injuring a rib. Rib injuries typically recoup fast, vertebrae injuries can be life threatening and permanent.
Lewis TKOd Ruddock in two because Razor kept ducking low to his right and Lewis timed him on it early on. Watch the fight again, he does it continually until Lewis picks up on it.
