Who wins Mathysse vs. Garcia?

I would definitely favor Lucas, but Garcia seems to be one of those guys people always pick against who always proves them wrong. It's early in his career, but I get that feeling.

 

Matthysse UD or late stoppage.

 

If Garcia either beats Matthysse, JMM or Rios, I would give him credit then.

 

I can't believe so many people are picking Matthyse.

Danny's Ring IQ is far higher than Matthyse's - This will be the difference in the fight.

 

Really close fight, but as of now I'll have to go with Mathysse. But Garcia keeps on shutting everybody up and many people are just talking/mentioning his left, but Garcia's body attack is vicious. He is improving and much respect to him. I just could see Mathysse survive if they go all out brawl, but not sure how Garcia will react if he finds himself getting drop or in trouble.

 

I'd favour Garcia as he's more versatile hits equally as hard and has an iron chin. close to 50-50 thouygh and one of the best fights to be made in sport. I love how all the brits hate on Garcia now hahahaha

 

There are people who love to tell me Matthysse would murder Garcia. They keep asking me whom Garcia has beaten. Well, whom has Matthysse beaten? His best win is over Olusegun which isn't exactly a household name. Don't get me wrong, Lucas-Garcia is a great fight and I can't wait for it. I just can't stand it when people make it sound like Garcia turned pro just yesterday.

 

Garcia can definitely hurt Matthysse with those hooks and counters of his, especially if they land flush and repeatedly. People talk about Garcia being open but Matthysse is just as open, not to mention significantly slower. This would be a great fight, and I hope it gets made sooner rather than later.

 

Excellent fight not sure why those picking Lucas are so adamant regarding the possibility of him winning the fight....if anything Garcia probably has the quicker hands and the more traditional skill set plus the balls and durability to bang with Lucas. I agree the dude is still flawed but I can't gather why anyone would think he would blasted out the ring by Lucas...if anything I can envision him being out boxed by Alexander but outgunned is by far the least likeliest of outcomes.

 

More versatile, nah Garcia is the definition of one dimensional. Matthysse would smack him silly

 

I will go with Garcia UD or late TKO. I think he has enough mental fortitude and technical skills to weather MAthysse's style. Though I would not be surprised by a late stoppage for Mathysse either.

Close fight. Would love to see it.

 

Danny vs Lucas have FOTY written all over. Would prolly be Rios vs Mike all over again.

 

I'll take Lucas. Garcia ain't got the boxing game to offset Lucas' pressure. It's gonna take a clever boxer to take down Lucas. Garcia ain't that kinda fighter. It'd be a brawl, and that favors Lucas.

Lucas had a fight with Judah that could have gone either way, not a robbery. The overrating of Mathysse is just so transparent and we all why the overrating is being done.

Garcia beats Mathysse, I'll take a lifetime ban bet on it too.
