Some fickle *******s on here. Groves is one of the nicest lads in boxing and lets be honest, if he ever fought Anderson again it would be a complete mismatch, he is well above that level now.

 

Holding the Lonsdale belt above a big and bragging about it is a new one, never been done before. Hardly what you would expect from one of the nicest lads in boxing. If he is one of the nicest lads in boxing, the rest must be sewer.

 

I've read 7 pages of this thread and have not seen anything mentioned about what KENNY is alleged to have said.

If it is his brother-in-law, Kenny is hardly going to be with him 24/7 vetting the guys tweets! The guy cant be held accountable for what every member of his family says or does.


The only things I have heard from Anderson is that he was pissed off about the rematch getting held up/cancelled.


If true about the death threats etc and they came from his family then it is pretty deplorable! However does anyone actually know that this is coming from Kenny himself or if it actually has anything to do with him?

 

if Kenny did all that stuff, why not actually tell people what he did ? What would he have to lose ? He would surely have evidence ?

Makes me laugh seeing posters having a joke about Groves's looks.

Pretty sure those same posters would feel different if Groves started trying to chat up their missus in a club.

Anyways .. enough of that frivolity ... put Anderson in with DeGale and the winner can have a rematch with Groves further down their careers.

Until Anderson actually beats someone of merit then this argument is futile and a waste of time.

Groves has got repeated abuse from people very close to Kenny and Kenny could and should have tried to stop that from happening. Theres absolutley no way he wasn't aware.

But he shouldn't have done that with the belt.

Groves stopped Anderson, and despite being put down the final result was clear

Kenny needs to forget Groves and find another way

Banging on / tweeting / family / friends tweeting / abusing ...about not getting a rematch to a fight you lost clearly is pretty pathetic and not in keeping with this stone cold hard man image he has


He needs to realise that in boxng, not always getting a fight you want is pretty commonplace, and he is nowhere near important enough to expect he is going to get his way

Exactly right. I like dunky, but he should be banned from talking about Scottish fighters.
