A lot of fighters duck, avoid, or don't want certain fights. As said a million times before, boxing is a business. We as fans are not privy to the details surrounding negotiations, promoter disputes or any other intricacies surrounding the business. Managing risk is a cornerstone of any business model. I think it's naive to think that any of your favorite fighters don't avoid certain situations(and it doesn't mean they are scared). Look at Donaire and Rigondeaux. I think Donaire whoops him and makes it look rather easy, but he doesn't want to fight because there's not a lot of money to made in that fight.
Try telling that to *******s. They think promoters click exhibition match, then chose the fighter for red and blue corner
Yes, this is true. Regardless, Mayweather's resume, while still one of the top ones among this generation, is fairly thin by ATG standards. Some of it is his fault, some of it is timing and circumstances, but it is what it is. He ranks as an ATG, but could/should be higher.
He accepted to fight and Arum turned down the contract. He didn't want Floyd embarrassing his mexican cash cow :yep
But Castillo could out land Mayweather and land over 200 GTFOH Fact is Floyd was too chicken to test himself.
Yup. Ignore that D4 fool he's a disgraced pacturd from boxing scene Margarito lost to friggen Williams.
