I had degale to smash groves, smith to wipe the floor with selby in a round! And back in the day I had gatti to beat mayweather, de la Hoya to beat Mosley and B-Hop to beat Taylor (both times)

Well you could certainly say you were right about the Hopkins-Taylor fights.

Haye/Wlad I got completely wrong and lost a few quid. When the fight was first talked about several years before it took place I thought Haye had no chance but he really talked the talk and I made the rookie mistake of reading far too much in to Wlad's historic KO losses and over estimating Haye's power after dusting up Ruiz.

After his tentative display against Valuev I should have known he would fight as he did but for some reason I really saw him going out and unloading shots.

Also picked Hopkins to beat Calzaghe, didn't feel like such a fool after that fight, but lets not open up a can of worms!!

I got Calzaghe V's Lacy wrong. I thought Joe was slipping and a strong power puncher was the last thing a slipping fighter with bad hands needed. I really wanted Lacy to batter him him too because at that point Calzaghe had been on a four fight run of Mger Mkrtchyan, Kabary Salem (who dropped him), a pointless Mario Veit rematch (mando I know but ****ing hell force a unification) and Evans Ashira.

30 seconds into the fight I knew Lacy was gonna get a beating. What I didn't know was that it would be ages before Calzaghe had another really big fight.

Picking Gatti to beat Mayweather is pretty bad.

Considering that Gatti was at best little more than a club fighter and by the time Floyd cherry picked (sorry - decided he wanted to be a three weight world champion) he was utterly gone.

Not long afterwards Gatti was executed by Carlos Baldomir :)-() and then sparked by Alfonso Gomez.

It's a win comparable with the Ortiz one for Floyd.

    cotto - gomez.

gomez coming off a good win , had fought with far bigger men and stopped them. cotto had looked really hitable, looked sluggish and reletivly chinny. thought gomez was going to come into his own and outhustle punch and keep too busy for miguel.

    travis simms to beat alcine.

then alcine to beat santos....i get sold on the fight previous not thier whole career methinks.

Heavens, that is a terrible pick. Cotto had just beaten Mosley too.
