Hagler at times seemed like the perfect fighter. Meldrick Taylor in the 1st JCC fight looked incredible.

Of course, I should rephrase myself. Meldrick Taylor in the 1st 11 rounds of the JCC fight looked incredible.

Yes I agree Flea, Ricardo Lopez, Duran, and RJ are all excellent choices for being visually the top tier of boxers filmed.

Judging by your avatar you're easily swayed by flashiness.

Hearns was asked why he didn't box Hagler. He said that was his intention but "Hagler wouldn't let me"

As for the best fighter...live...Azumah Nelson

Mine's quite predictable. A certain Walker Smith Jr. Everything was the fine line of perfect. Especially as a welterweight. Not to mention his stint at middleweight up until 1952.

I've never seen Sugar Ray Robinson live because I'm too young for that, but he's the best I've ever seen on film and better than anyone I've seen live. The best fighters I've seen during my lifetime (in no particular order) would be Ali, Spinks, Leonard, Duran, Monzon, Hagler and Sanchez. The best fighter I've seen in an arena live is Sweet Pea.
