Will Kell Brook come to America to fight Alexander or does he not want the belt?

It didn't do 5000 mate, the arena was sold out. That link you posted was bragging they'd done 5000 6 weeks before the fight, can remember Hearn tweeting about it as well

Yeah mate, I've just corrected it. Do you know what the final numbers were? Originally I was under the impression it did around 10,000.

I refer you to Joe 'Zaggers' Calzaghe, who travelled to America, took on American Legend after American Legend in their own backyards and beat them black and blue :deal

Back to the topic in hand:

The reason why Cunningham says that Brook coming to America is the only way the fight is happening is because Alexander is a Disgraceful Quitter whose Glass Heart shatters at the thought of travelling to Sheffield.

I know it, GBP know it and Kevin Cunnigham knows it.

It will look ridiculously bad on Brook and Hearn if they don't secure a world title shot for him in his next fight. His long run of interim titles and final eliminators has already become a laughing matter, risks have to be taken for rewards in this sport, not everything can go his own way. His team were probably banking on some Eastern European no mark holding a title for them to pick up in Sheffield.

Yeah around 10,000 I think! The Jones and Saldivia fights did about 7000 I believe. Think the Devon fight could do 10 in Sheffield as well but 30,000 is a little bit unrealistic ha

What kind of attendances has Alexander been doing in St Louis?

**** Hearn, he just wants Brook to stick around for domestic money spinners against Khan and Hatton. Brook vs Alexander aint gonna happen

 A bit optimistic, aren't we?

David Haye -- the biggest name in UK boxing -- drew in around 20-25K for his highly publicised domestic fights with Chisora and Harrison. I very much doubt a Kell Brook -- who's a nobody compared to Haye -- would rake in similar numbers against a foreigner. Even if it is a title fight.

Brook's still in the process of building his name. Ridiculous to think he could shift 30,000 tix fighting Alexander, who as RicoGOAT said isn't a draw outside of St Louis, It would probably just generate about half that, they'll probably just settle for a 10k arena if it does come off.

He did 9,117 when he was at the height of his powers against Kotelnik:

He lost steam since then, I imagine. Further dissappointing performances against Bradley and Matthysse probably haven't helped. I'm guessing he was around 6-7,000 against Maidana and Matthysse.

That will depend a little on where the fight is, if its at Sheffiled where Kell is better known then yes possibly over 15,000-20,000 if they get the fight at the Sheffield Utd ground

Brook v Khan could draw 30k but the reality is most casual fans aren't bothered about world titles.

I think if Alexander comes to Sheffield, they can sell out 10,000 easily but Alexander v Brook in St Louis sells maybe just short of that. If showtime back the fight with $$$$$ it will be in America in think.
