do you ever feel like tipping the board off? I know its not your job to do it or anything but it must annoy you when you train hard and they juice up, or are there not avenues to do that with the board?

Larry may or may not have been taking all the substances himself, but it's certainly very likely he supplied them to other fighters. In pleading guilty to taking them all himself he gets a lesser sentence(if any at all), and avoids a lot of problems. In non-sporting, legal terms, taking many PED's isn't illegal but supplying them sure as hell is, and Larry probably didn't want to go back to the big house.

The fighters who are aware of other pro's taking drugs are the same as the BBC employees who knew about Jimmy Saville and said nothing.

Cylcling, Swimming, Tennis, Football etc its bad....but Boxing & MMA it should be even stricter becuase somebody can be killed in the ring due to taking punches.

Not my style mate, but i certainly wouldn't fight or spar anyone who I thought was using them, the advantages they have are ridiculous.

This is exactly what I mean. Jeff I know is a good man. He is a Christian I beleive, and has strong morals. Yet he beleives that "grassing on somebody" is worse than somebody taking PED's and cheating to win titles and increase there earning potential, and at the same time taking the opportunity from somebody else who is being fare.

I am not saying he is right or wrong, infact I would probably do the same thing as him, as Jeff is just looking out for himself above anybody else, but it's sad really when you look at it. Nothing will change.

I agree nothing will change, additionally I can't really be sure - i can see the hallmarks of steroid abusers as can anyone but then I can only put two and two together... Maybe it is really genetics I doubt it very much though.

 

TBH if i knew someone was juicing, and then left someone in a right state or even killed them i'd be in bits.

I was brought up not to grass so can see what Jeff's going through, his mindset is probably same as mine but then you have to think of the opponents family and what if there loved one is taken away from them by a cheat!.

I get told numerous times about people fighting and using, makes me sick TBH.

 

I honestly just think make it all legal.

We live in a society where drugs is acceptable. How many people on this forum talk about smoking weed and popping pills...then go crazy when somebody talks about doing steroids. Its hypocritical.

Were also a performance enhanced society. Bood jobs, Botox, Viagra, Sunbeds. Whats the difference.

I honestly think make this stuff all legal, in sport and in the home. Control it and tax the **** out of it.

 

But what when the testing itself doesn't work. Victor Conte said that Marion Jones and Tim Montgomery took 180 drug tests between them whilst they were pumped full of PED's and they never failed once.

 

Good point, But i suppose the more you test the more you catch people out as we've seen in 2012. You will always get some guys who know the ins and outs of how to cycle and get passed the system on the down low.

A mate of mine told me about one of the Klitchko's steroid use as AM's and described how they can use a steroid and make it hard to trace.
