True, very true. But Paulie was hyped about fighting in his hometown, I mean it has always been a dream. So he was still going to go for it. Yes it was a robbery, I agree. But I still am disgusted with fighters not making weight. I'm sorry man.

 

Atritionist is right in his reasoning that yeah the Mexican kid might have gotten robbed but he came in overweight, so maybe that gave him an advantage, however slight it may have been.

 

I agree with you Freddy. I kept telling you all Cano would whoop Paulie but no one believed. Had it not been for that horrible cut Cano would have stopped Paulie. Cano was landing his stiff jab at will and also the overhand right repeatedly. I used to respect Paulie because of what he said on national TV. Turns out he is just another hypocrite.


I saw the interview he had on ESPN. He made it sound like he dominated the fight and that compubox should not count as the people that run it dont know how to use it. I agree with the compubox thing as sometimes it does not tell the story.

The funny thing about Paulie is that he now has received 2 gifts. His first one was against Ngoudjo back in the day. He was also fighting at home in New Jersey. Ngoudjo should have been awarded the win but he got robbed. Cano also won this fight easily. I had it 8-4 plus the knockdown. I dont understand how you guys can score jabs over Canos jabs and power punches which he outlanded Paulie on the entire fight.
Did people also forget the bodywork of Cano. Paulie said he finished the fight with bruised ribs so he cant fight for a while.

Paulie is no different than all the dudes that were giving Erik a pass last week for coming up dirty, yet had the audacity to **** on Berto, Tarver, Peterson.

 

I've not seen this fight, yet. Is it worth watching?

 

It's a very entertaining fight. Cano had a nasty gash over his left eye, but his corner did an incredible job of keeping the bleeding down. The 1-2 that put Paulie down was beautiful!

Paulie has gotten gifts over Ngoudjo, Lovemore Ndou, and now Cano. Paulie is just a bitchj. Not exclusively because he wear lip gloss, eyeliner, mascara, powder, and acts like a dike, but because he talked this big stink about how Boxing was corrupt, and how he was a victim, ALL WHILE getting two gifts in his backyard, and now after his **** talk, get yet ANOTHER GIFT! And he says nothing about the forces of corruption that are.

 

Quiet? He's been the exact opposite. He was tweeting all damn day about it and went on at the Press conference about it pretty loudly.

I think he's being a bit of a nob in all honesty with the **** he was re-tweeting.

I had the fight to Cano by a single point and there were some really close rounds. A couple of judges seeing literally one round apiece differently doesn't equate to a robbery.
