Does having the best amateur record ever , a belt and being the most relevant opponent for Donaire have any importance?

So who is Donaire going to fight? Don't you think he should fight Rigo next or at least sometime next year? Why is the TS or anyone against this fight is what I would like to know?

Rigo is top 20 p4p fighter.

Nobody would want to watch Floyd vs Paulie bc Paulie stands no chance. Rigo got a great chance in upsetting Donaire. Their Skill level is pretty even.

Rigondeax has great skill but still needs to provehimself. I personally like the guy but I'm not sold yet.

Rigo is over hyped, that chin won't hold up any longer once he faces Donaire or any elite fighters around his division.
Amateur and pro is different. :D

Rigo saying Donaire didn't look impressive against Nishioka, but How about himself against Marroquin?
Looked like crap compared to Donaire's win.

Could you do a similar in-depth examination of the resumes of Wilfredo Vazquez Jr, Jeffrey Mathebula, and Omar Narvaez at 118? Thanks.

So what if people think he would KO donaire, does beating one fighter make you great?

How is Donaire going to fight Mares if he's with GBP? Not sure who Moreno is with. If donaire wants to fight Akebgo then he should move back down to 118. **** this bs about dragging fighters out of their weight class to give yourself an advantage.

Rigo has seemed to be willing to fight anyone. He isn't young and wants to fight the best available, and you are criticizing him for that?

Donaire would get lots of credit if he KOd rigo. There will some haters who wont give him credit but that will never change.

    Darchinyan
    Montiel
    Nishioka

Rigondeaux would not crack that top 3 if Donaire were to beat him at the moment.

Ahead of Ramos, I'd put Narvaez for sure. Mthalane would be, but the nature of the stoppage to go along with Mthalane actually winning a couple rounds, eh, it's debatable. Marquez, Sidorenko, and WVII all have legit arguments. Marquez though was and is a flyweight fighting Donaire at 115. Sidorenko is a great win, in stunning fashion, but he was well past it whereas Ramos was, if nothing else, fresh and young. No way that Mathebula and Martinez are as good of wins as undefeated (even if barely proven, or not proven) Ramos. So, to me Ramos can be listed as high as 5 against Donaire's win and as low as 9...

Obviously, your P4P list is based solely on how good you feel they can be, not what they have shown or proven in the ring.

Says you! Most people would mark it down as one of his best wins

The fact of the matter is Rigo has beaten everyone put in front of him (whether its limited or not). You can easily see the skills he possesses. He has a title and Donnaire wants to be the No. 1 at the weight then he needs to fight the other title holders - Rigo.

    1. Agbeko called out Rigondeaux, saying he is going up to 122 pounds.

    2. He has seemed willing, but in reality he has two notable victories, along with two other good performances against non-top 10 or barely-top 10 guys. I criticize his fans for pretending he is something wildly different than what he is.

    3. He would get no credit. KO'ing an 11-0 guy who is already approaching mid-30's and who has no victories whatsoever to make anyone think he is in the category of "elite."

No one gave him credit for the Nishioka win, man. You think he'll really get any credit for Rigondeaux? He should, but a win over Nishioka warrants far more praise than a potential one over Rigo and he has not gotten that.

Specially if rigo takes his retirement check and and retires not doing anything ever to benefit donaires career if donaire beats him it would be another glass jawed Cuban disgrace getting beat nothing special, that's why I think rigos team need to start domination top material... Like darchynian, wvjr, terrazas, Abgeko. but hell fight a can and demand donaire.
