I have no problem with Donaire not fighting him right now, but his reasoning is utter bull****. The only thing Mathebula had was height and the IBF strap. Rigo has 2 gold medals and the WBA strap. Vasquez is only relevant because his father was a great fighter. He's still a prospect in some regards, but he got moved up too soon.

 

Rigo will be past prime within 2 years. His style will not age well. What I'm saying is that Mathebula and Vasquez haven't beaten anyone even on a B level guy like Agbeko's level, but Rigo has to?

If I was Donaire the fight I would be looking to would be the winner of Mares vs Moreno, and if that doesn't come off then Poonsawat, then move up.

If Rigo want a piece of the action then fight Mares vs Moreno winner or Poonsawat.
