It's honestly so easily Donaire that anyone who says otherwise is close to trolling.

The two Argentine fighters. Sergio and Matthysse.

Donaire by far i think though i wish it was Rigo instead of one of the others

I think Bradleys upset was huge but the reaction and backlash would prevent any award or recognition

Martinez over Chavez and Ward over Dawson were 2 huge big deal fights and in bother 1 guy dominated probably more so than most thought

Matthysse is one of my favorite fighters but his win over Soto is overrated. Great fight against Ajose though. Ward has one good (not great) win in the entire year. Donaire did good but had he KOed Mathebula I would've given him the award.

For me it comes down to Sergio and Garcia. Gonna have to go with DG. Nobody expected him to be competitive against Khan. Then Garcia goes on to score what I believe to be KOTY which is another thing nobody expected him to accomplish.

I voted Danny. At the beginning of the year, who had even heard of Danny?

Then he goes out and gets 3 high profiled victories.

Danny's last 2 ko's were downright spectacular. 2 koty candidates.

Angel Garcia: Trainer of the year? :rofl

    They'll give it to Ward.
Unless Pacquiao completely pulls a hat trick and knocks Marquez out. He looked horrible against Bradley, but he did win. That controversy along with the hype machine will revive his name depending what happens this Dec.
Donaire, Garcia and Martinez might have a chance though.

    Edit*
Gyll, has good reasoning behind his choice for Garcia. I might have to change my vote.
