There are many loyal Magpies fans who believe Sheens and Humprhies have been trying to rid the Magpis side of the merger for a longtime, Sheens desicion to only let first graders play for teh Blamin NSW cup side seems to add weight to that theory, as a result, Sironen, Korobete etc etc etc all play for the Blamin side who went on to the Grandfinal while the Magpies struggled to win a game all year.

 

i always liked Balmain but my priority was def with the Magpies

wasnt serious about my league watching until 2002 or so, so who I supported before hand was never something I was incredibly passionate about

The Magpies NSW cup side is gone... It wont exist next year, But Financiallly, The clubs at Ashfied and CAmpbelltown are racking in the dollars, Balmain on the other hand are in diabolics

When I first heard Smith had been sacked, I feared a mini resurgence from the scum. When they signed that noname bum as coach, my slightly worried thoughts were quickly put to bed.

Singing Jason Taylor as assistant coach only reassures me that you will fail. He's the type of guy who would have issues about this noname coach being picked ahead of him, and he'll be waiting in the loop as assistant with his mouth watering for the shot at head coach he thinks he deserves.

Pushing out loyal players to get on the SBW mercenary bandwagon for 6 months can only result in disaster, or ecstacy if you're a fan of any of the other 15 NRL teams :yep

Anyway, I'm glad to see that theres still hope in your teary eyes. I just hope you stay an active poster when the milk starts to turn sour. Which will be sometime around the 13 minute mark in round 1, and I'll be there basking in my glorious champagne victory drinks to see your heart incinerate.
