Cotto vs GGG Sparing....some initial reports!

    I wish there was video of this. I have no doubts Cotto could outbox him in sparring. He is the better boxer. Sparring is just practice, though.

    I hope not, Sergio could hurt him.

    I don't buy into sparring reports. What I do buy into is, footage of the sparring which I can jude for myself.
    Even then I try to remember that one or both sparring partners may not be in full fight mode and just workign one some little thing like trying a new combo or some footwork or some sort of defenseive techniuqe.


    Take this report with a pinch of salt.

    I really like GGG but Cotto is on another level. Any one saying GGG knocks Cotto out in a fight really are ****ing ******ed.

    A full sized hard punching middle knocking out a tiny junior middle, shocking. What's Cotto's best true JMW opponent so far?

    I'd be absolutely shocked if GGG didn't knock Cotto out within 6 rounds in an actual fight. Cotto isn't a big guy and he doesn't have the best chin. If Cotto could run for 12 rounds while using his jab he could pull it out on his best day theoretically but it would be a long shot at best.

    Why people dont accept that Cotto could outbox GGG. He (GGG) has more power and size, but that is NOT an END ALL in boxing. There is much more than that.

    Ring IQ = Cotto
    Foot Work = Cotto
    Boxing Ability = Cotto
    Experience = Cotto
    Power = GGG
    Size = GGG
    Combination/ability to put puches together = Cotto
    etc...etc...

    A guy with a Cotto avatar quoting a Puerto Rican poster on ESB as prove that Cotto whooped GGG in sparing?

    I'm not saying it didn't happen but I am saying I don't believe you. When someone respectable reports it, I'll believe it.
