Emmanuel Steward passes away

Since being reletively new to the sport, i understood emanuel steward was recoised as one of the best trainers to have ever lived.

he seemed like a great guy, and knew his stuff, when he spoke people would listen. I especially.

RIP legend and prayers for his family. his a champion in my eyes. rip champ

 

Damn, true boxing legend and one of the nicest guys, so sad to hear this

The german sources are piggy-backing off the american ones. There's no need to relive the he-says-she-says in another language when it's already been done.

At this point nobody seems to be sure.

 

At the bottom of that article it links to a more recent article saying that he is dead.

Crude translation with me being half German the article says.

"Star trainer Emanuel Steward was falsely declared dead last night.
The Detroit Post stated that he died from intestinal cancer, this was shortly after refuted.

Not sure how accurate the article is but that is what its saying roughly.
But yeah the article saying he did die is the more recent one ......
