Mexico as well as U.SA have more MMA gyms than Boxing gyms. Boxing is dying in mexico, and it's dying in U.S.A also. \

San for the sport but i think its in big trouble becausel of lack of schools. Can't see it being a major sport in the USA in the next 10 years and pretty much dead by 2030

Have you been to Mexico??? I have and it seemed that every corner was opening a new MMA gym and boxing gyms were closing down!!! Here in LA some boxing gyms have closed down, and new mma gyms are opening up like crazy.

    MMGAY is a fad.

Boxing is a world international sport like Soccer. it will never die.

I was in Mexico City last Summer for Vacation and didn't see one MMA Gym while There was a boxing Gym in every corner.

I really can't see why the new Generation of Aztec Warriors should dry hump each other while Boxing is the second biggest Sport in the country.

It was a gimmick from the beginning. Fun to watch sometimes, but it's only a few levels above cockfights, bumfights, etc.

What part of Mexico? California, the U.S. side, (not Baja California) don't count as part of Mexico

I border with Tamaulipas and have family over there too....and not one MMA gym in sight. :hi:

Look im boxing fan for life myself. But i was in jalisco and by Sonora and then to Tijuana and boxing gyms are closig and mma gym are opening.

Le't be serious here in LA alot of boxing gyms have closed. and MMa gyms are opening up like crazy. Meaning alot of schools for mma, none for boxing and kids to practice the sweet science. MMa is international as well, Brazil, Japan, Russia and here in the USA.
